Welcome to Heartwood Counseling
My name is Peggy Mahan and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Play Therapist with a Masters of Arts (MA) in Counseling. Working with developing adolescents and adults is my passion and would love the opportunity to work with you as a catalyst for your own self exploration. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am licensed through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors to practice in Texas as a psychotherapist. |

Continuing Education
To maintain the integrity of this profession, it is imperative that all therapists continue their education in their areas of interest to provide the most updated and effective researched methods in the field. I am continuing my education by attending seminars and workshops.
